I have a cool idea for an option! When you turn on "Raider Raccoons", There will be a 10% chance for a Raider Raccoon to spawn at the entrance of your home at night (Survival Mode) and steal a random object that might be laying around or if there aren't any items laying around, he could sneak up to you and steal an item from your inventory. They can appear at any point from went it finishes getting dark to when the sun rises and it starts getting brighter. Whenever one spawns in your house, you are able to fight it off either when it hasn't yet stolen anything, or when it has and it is heading out the door with the item it picked to disappear when it gets back to the entrance/exit. if you kill one, if it has already stolen something, it drops what it took. In addition to that, it has a 30% chance to drop hide or leather (Whichever you wanna call it) AND a bonus item, ranging from seeds to an iron or diamond ingot (With a 5% chance of dropping any bonus item), both the hide/leather and the bonus item being a possibility whether or not the Raider Raccoon has stolen anything yet. If there is more than one entrance/exit, Raider Raccoons can go in and out through different places. If a Raider Raccoon does appear, it will be whichever one of the colors is close to the vast majority of your house. For example, if your house is mostly dark at night (very few torches or jack-o-lanterns), the RR will be black. if your home is at least mostly made of wood and/or dirt, it will be brown. If your place is mostly made of stone, it will look like your average stereotypical gray-and-striped-tail Raider Raccoon. Given that there is more than one opening, it will take the one farthest away from you. If you have the "Raider Raccoons" option off, the game will go as it normally does. If you turn it on, they can spawn, but the night is 30% shorter. This option is perfect if you are bored with Survival Mode and want a challenge, if you hate nighttime and want it to be shorter, or if you want added suspense to the game, and if you're lucky enough, extra items! (Or all of the above)
And maybe they could be breed,and farmed for items?
there can't be more than one per night. Anyway, they only go in and out of your home and nothing else. (They despawn upon daylight)
If my idea is accepted and is put in the game, I wonder what Raider Raccoons would look like?
I dunno...maybe they can drop their own type of meat opon death?
I think there is already 2 or 3 types of meat in the game, so I'm not really sure if that would be necessary.
I dunno... actually there's 5. I would consider rotten flesh,and spider eyes as a meatish item.
