There is not water and lava in survival yet and diamond is the rarest ore in woc just keep digging.

minecraftfan, since this comment was posted a few years ago, is there still no way to get water on the game or can u now do it? And if u still can’t get water, how will my garden be able to grow?

Since around V2.6 back in 2016 you can now get snow blocks from snow biomes, but that's the closest you'll get to obtaining water in Survival Mode, as there is no way for you to obtain water or lava in Survival.

However, don't worry about your crops, as unlike in MineCraft, crops don't need water to grow, and farmland will only turn into dirt if you wait too long to plant anything, water has no effect on it.

BlueTangs Rock2, yeah. I found out today that u don’t need water for crops to grow. But I never find snow biomes. Does that mean I have no hope at finding water? And also, do u have to dig to a certain depth in a cave to get gold and diamond?

Just explore a bit (of course placing easily obtained blocks like planks as "breadcrumb paths" as you're exploring will help you not get lost), snow biomes are one of five biomes(the others are forest, plains, savanna, and desert).

The snow biome is known for it's snow layer and medium pine-shaped trees, a WoC World is 16,000×16,000 blocks(1,000×1,000 coordinates) large, so it's quite likely you have lots of snow biomes in your world as long as you're at least in version 2.6 of WoC, or in later versions.

Snow is a block you currently have the ability to duplicate by mining with a shovel, and after placing and mining it a bit, you'll easily be able to get stacks of them quickly, so they're the best block to use for a quick night base, pillaring/staircasing your self out of a large pit, for scaffolding while building large structures, or "breadcrumb pathing" while exploring through biomes(except in the snow biomes because snow colored blocks blends with a snowy environment).

Even though snow is good scaffolding/pathing block, even better at the job than blocks such as dirt, you cannot get water from them, so even if you find snow, there's no water.

As for gold and diamond, they are only found in the deeper elevations in the WoC world, Gold can start being found 30 blocks above bedrock layer, and will generate more commonly than diamonds, but a bit less commonly than iron, but as gold can generate anywhere between elevation 1-30, it's more widespread than diamonds, so in certain situations it may be harder to find.

Diamond can start being found at 16 blocks above bedrock layer, they have the lowest generating rate of all ores, however not by too much, only slightly less than gold generation rates, as this ore has only 16 blocks of elevation space to generate in, it's a lot more easier to bump into while making mines(recommended that you use the strip mining strategy from MineCraft, and at elevation 11-12 so you can be right in the center of where the diamonds will generate.

There are occasionally massive pit caves that can sometimes get just deep enough to expose some gold and/or diamond, and as there are no lava blocks to replace the air blocks in caves lower than elevation 10, you can freely walk around the caves that generated right up against the bedrock, and you can usually find at least one ore vein if not more there, but don't be alarmed if you don't find anything there, as the "next-to-bedrock" caves are quite common.

BlueTangs Rock2, im sry but i have no idea what half of that means and honestly cant be bothered to read it all. so if u could expain it as if talking to a mindless and lazy dummy, that would be great. its not that im stupid, because im not stupid, but... things are just hard for me to understand sometimes.

I'm sorry, I get carried away with the technical things sometimes, lol.

Basically snow biomes are one of WoC's biome's added in V2.6 and onwards, you'll be able to eventually find it from exploring, though if you don't have a compass unlocked, then you can dot blocks around the surface of where you're moving to create a path so you don't get lost.

Snow is quite useful for filler blocks(making stairs, pillaring, scaffolding, or for making a quick base), as mining it with a shovel will duplicate it, do it repeatedly with the duplicated blocks to get lots in no time, however unfortunately it's not a source of water.

As for gold and diamond ore, you can indeed find them deep down, with gold starting to appear 30 blocks from bedrock, and diamonds starting to appear 16 blocks from bedrock, to find diamonds, it's recommended to use the "Strip-mining strategy" that's most well-known used in MineCraft at around 11 blocks from bedrock (you can find out how far are you from bedrock by mining to it and then counting up each block).

Some surface caves are large enough and deep enough to expose some of the rarer ores, however unlike MineCraft, lava doesn't replace air 10 blocks from bedrock, so nothing's stopping you from mining for caves at bedrock layer, where you're likely to find some ore.

Hope this helps. :)

You can find lava and diamond in cavas and I don't know where you find water at
